This was the competition where Chelsea and I originally debuted our Phoenix routine in 2014. It was at a low point for us because Chelsea had just injured her leg, bad enough that we had to miss out on a regional competition and that is the worst when you have to sit a dance competition and (watch) when all you want to do is dance. So when we performed this number in Atlanta last year at nationals we had no idea how it would be received we didn't even know how it would feel because we were limited during practice because of Chelsea's leg. But God's blessing was with us that evening and the room felt unlike anything I have ever experienced or have yet to experience again. The routine itself was the perfect real life representation of how Chelsea and I felt on the inside. Nationals of 2014 was when we were reborn and renewed in our passion for this art form.
This Video is 1 year later, a lot of growth has happened since the first performance and there is a lot more to come. hope you guys enjoy the video and all its shenanigans ;)
